Heating solutions

District heating is a reliable heating solution for buildings of all sizes. District heating is practically the only method of heating that is an easy and reliable service for the customer, to which the local energy company commits for the entire life cycle of the building. It works flexibly together with other forms of heating as well.

We call our district heating "Lähilämpö". It is produced, as the name implies, in nearby, local power and heat plants, mainly as combined heat and electricity. In total, about half of the local heat is produced from renewable sources and half from other energy sources. You can also choose "Lähilämpö puu" which is heating produced entirely from renewable logging residues, mainly from local forests.
