Information on our invoicing

We want to make paying the invoices of all our products as easy and flexible as possible. You can select the invoicing interval and the form of invoicing best suited for you, i.e., whether you will receive your invoices in the form of an e-invoice, direct payment, or traditional paper invoice.

You can pay your invoices in either four, six, or twelve annual instalments. 

As a private customer, you can choose between consumption-based and estimated invoicing for your electricity use. If you choose consumption-based invoicing, the invoices will be based on your actual consumption, meaning that the invoiced amount will vary depending on the season. If, on the other hand, you choose estimated invoicing, you will receive, in the course of the year, several estimated invoices which are based on the annual electricity consumption estimate of your residence. You will also receive, once a year, a balancing invoice, with which the amounts on the estimated invoices are balanced to correspond to your actual electricity consumption.

For the part of Lähilämpö (district heating), Lähijäähdytys (district cooling), and natural gas consumption, we will invoice you once a month on the basis of your realised energy use.

Only one electricity invoice

If you are both an electricity sales and transmission customer of Tampereen Sähkölaitos, we will only send you one electricity invoice, on which the shares of sales and transmission have been itemised.

If your location of use is not situated in the area of the network company Tampereen Sähköverkko Oy, you will receive an electricity transmission invoice from your local network company and an electricity sales invoice from Tampereen Sähkölaitos.
